Starkville It: Greensboro and Louisville Historical District

   Starkville is an old Southern city. Therefore it has old Southern districts. I adore the Louisville and Greensboro parts of the city. The old houses allow me to dream about all the young men that came calling, all the pies made and sat on windowsills, and all the holidays spent with family.

  
   In the midst of it all stands an old building now used as apartments that has a faded Coca-Cola ad painted on the side. One can't help but wonder what happened on this block many years ago. If you're in Starkville, I'd highly recommend taking a stroll through this historical neighborhood.
