A Book of Short Stories: William Faulkner's Spotted Horses, Old Man & The Bear

I chose this specific grouping of short stories because Faulkner is one of the few famous Mississippians. His writing is also so different and unique. It honestly is not my favorite to read. I find it difficult, but his stories are so good!
My favorite of these short stories was Old Man, it was just so outrageous and completely Faulkner in every sense.
If you have a chance to take a class where you know you'll be studying any of William Faulkner's works (The Sound and The Fury is GREAT) I recommend it! Faulkner's works are difficult to pick up on your own, but worth the time.
