Derby Days 2015

Derby Days. It's the single day of the year grown women are allowed to wear more glitter than 3 year olds on Halloween. And tutus--- can't forget the tutus.

Sigma Chi Derby Days is a whole week of events devoted to raise money and awareness for the philanthropy, Catch a Dream. There is a crawfish boil, smoothie bash, basketball tournament, Derby Darling and to finish the week, a lip-sync contest. By the end of the week everyone is tired of the colors turquoise and gray, there is glitter in places it shouldn't be and EVERYONE is sunburnt! The theme of our lip-sync this year was Footloose (which is one of my favorite movies----My Favorite: Footloose ). Zeta's Derby Darling was Morgan and she was crowned as Sigma Chi's Derby Darling! Go Morgan! She is the softest woman I know, and a true representation of our chapter.

My little, Hannah is awesome she competed in the
basketball tournament AND in the lip-sync!

While competing in the basketball game, Hannah was bitten (wtf).
I'm currently searching sorority row for a perfect match to the bite marks...
