A Book Originally Written in another Language
The Letters of Mozart and His Family
Volume II
I am currently in a art and film class as my art appreciation credit. Let me be clear. Film classes have so much potential to be fun and interesting. This one was not. We watched films that borderlined on porn or centered around very violent and graphic themes, but it's very possible that I'm just too "immature and young to enjoy art". [Direct quote from my professor]
Anyway, as a final project we had to produce a piece of art or write a research paper. Since I am an International Business major and in the 11th grade my Latin teacher begged me never to turn in a piece of art again, I gladly jumped at the opportunity to write a paper.
I chose to research the film, Amadeus. There have been a lot of disagreement among scholars about the accuracy of film. I found the second volume of a collection of letters written between Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and his family. Since Mozart is Austrian, the letters were originally written in German. Did I feel creepy investigating once private letters? yes. Did I absolutely love it? yes.
Tip of Wise old Macy: Make sure you won't get sick of a topic before you sign on to write a 10 page picture.
