Stockholm Fall Trip

Last year I visited Stockholm for the first time and almost a year later I visited again. Stockholm has a way of being wonderful in the fall.

This year a whole group of us journeyed up to Stockholm to enjoy a trip together before parting for our Master's Thesis.

Earlier in October, the National Museum reopened after 5 years of being closed. The National Museum is an art museum free for all to enjoy. There were so many wonderful works of art however it was extremely crowded so I felt rushed through the museum. I could have easily spent hours here, but with all the people it wasn't worth it. This is my favorite painting I found, a portrait of a very good little boy.

The weather was perfect. Seriously. It was warm with enough autumn chill. AND THERE WAS SUN! Multiple times, we found ourselves just sitting outside enjoying the warmth of the sun.

One thing I love about Stockholm is how natural the city can be. The picture above was taken in a park that can be reached from the center just by a 10-minute walk. That is pretty wonderful to me!

Fika. Always. Bröd and Salt is a Stockholm staple with some of the best treats in the city (in my opinion).
