This semester has been plagued by school work, searching for jobs, and grad school applications... I may die before I even get to see the benefits of my hard work.
Last week was fall break and it was oh so sweet. I got to go home and just do nothing basically. Which during the time of doing nothing was really nice but once I got back to school it was full force once again.
I got to visit my favorite coffee shop, Land of a Thousand Hills, while I was home. LOTH & LOTR. Perfect combo...
Land of a Thousands Hills is a really cozy coffee shop and they now have multiple locations around the Atlanta area. They have an awesome mission of supporting coffee farmers in Rwanda. You can buy ground or whole coffee in their stores to take home with you or other awesome swag. It's a great place to relax and know you're doing some good. Here's their website if you are in the Atlanta area and in search of a good brew: Land of a Thousand Hills
My sister attends Georgia Tech and even though I was on break- she wasn't. Over the weekend of my break and spent the night with her. The next day we went to a football game. I am sad to say that it was my first non-SEC football game. It was a whole lot of fun though! Students tailgate much differently since they are smack dab in the middle of Midtown. It is finally starting to kinda cool down so it was very pleasant to be outside watching the Jackets win. And there were mimosas.
