Apologies for the radio silence
Hej allihoopa!
I know it's been almost a month since you've heard last from me. It was not on purpose. I have just been extremely busy with school and starting a part-time job (yay! Praise God!). I take my last final June 1... just more three days... I cannot control my excitement! So soon, you will have updates on my Poland trip, springtime activities in Sweden and some of my thoughts about my first year in grad school.
So how am I planning to spend my summer in Sweden? Well, I will start the summer off with an all-paid trip to Switzerland with one of my best friends. HUGE thanks to Swiss Air and Switzerland Tourism . I am very excited to explore Switzerland - I know I will have a lot to share. I will have a few visitors to Helsingborg one of whom will be my dad. I am excited to show him my new city and let him meet some of my new Swedish friends.
In July I will travel to Dublin, Ireland (EU country #16) to visit a classmate who is interning in Dublin this summer. It will be a fun experience to get to see some of her favorite spots along with the typical touristy spots. I am trying to sort out a second trip which will be a Flixbus road trip through Romania, Hungary, and Croatia (EU countries #17, 18, & 19). Between traveling and working, I plan to just enjoy summer. I can't wait to read non-school books, hang out on the beach and I will really put 100% into learning Swedish even more (especially grammar- because mine right now is terrible!)
If anyone has any suggestions for Switzerland, Dublin, Romania, Hungary and Croatia - please let me know! I would love to hear what others enjoy in these cities and countries.
